RACING RECAP, December 23rd, 2009 -- What a finish for OST/Devil's Glen racer Julia Roth - 2nd yesterday in the final Panorama FIS SL race. Roth has hit the J1 Podium in pretty much every race she entered and was in the top 5 and top 10 on a consistent basis. To finish 2nd overall and the top 1993 racer yesterday is a great way to wrap up her western racing-mania. COMPLETE RESULTS
In the men's Tremblant GS races Ontario took second spot with CAST's Tyler Nella behind Ottawa's CAST racer Dustin Cook. Kevin Drury was 7th, Kelby Halbert 8th. More success for OST racer Tommy Grand on the J1 Podium, this time in 2nd spot with OST racer Morgan Megarry 3rd. COMPLETE RESULTS
Finally the women's race from Mt. Gabriel concluded with a SL yesterday. TUESDAY'S RESULTS Top Ontario team racer was Blue Mountain's Natalie Knowles who was 10th overall. In the previous days' race Natalie again was the top team racer to finish, this time 5th overall. On the J1 Podium Mary Beth Hemphill (ODT/Osler) was 2nd with teammate Devon Clarke (ODT/Craigleith) in 5th spot.
Highlight of the day belongs to Julia Roth...we're calling her turbo now too!
