SMUGGLERS NOTCH, VT (January 24, 2010) -- Alpine Ontario alumni are having quite a ride down south on the NCAA circuit podium. This past weekend marks the second weekend of racing on the NCAA Circuit and more gold for Ontario Ski Team alumni David Donaldson (Georgian Peaks) and Meg Ryley (Craigleith) who both won double gold in their respective Slalom races. 

Laura Rozinowicz (Green Mountain Valley Academy/Georgian Peaks) and Phil Brown (Craigleith) also did well over the weekend – Rozinowicz winning gold last Friday followed by silver in yesterday at Smugglers Notch VT. Phil Brown was Phil was 6th in Saturday’s SL and 5th on Friday. He will be departing shortly for France where he was one of 15 Canadians selected to compete in the FIS World Junior Championships.

 
Paul Atkinson (Craigleith) was 8th and 6th in the races, Braden Long (Georgian Peaks) 12th and 9th.
 
Racing continues next in Stowe, VT Feb 5-6th weekend with a men’s SL and GS.
