GOLD FOR ROZINOWICZ & RYLEY
Best finish ever for OST Morgan Megarry, 17th in Super Combined

Ontario FIS racers are currently divided between the Nor Am in Aspen and a series of University races in MA and now National Jr. races in Whiteface NY.

Highlights from the weekend University races include another gold for OST Alumni Meg Ryley (UVM) -- she won Saturday's Slalom race in 1.31.41 ahead of US racers Annie Rendall and Devin Delaney in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Friday's GS was won by an Ontario bred skier, this time Laura Rozinowicz of GMVA (Georgian Peaks alumni) who won the GS in a time of 1.41.32 beating World Jr. athlete Victoria Stevens who trains on the Quebec team and US racer Valerie Kechian in 3rd spot. Ryley finished 6th in this race.

On the men's side David Donaldson and Paul Atkinson were again in the top 10, Donaldson (UVM) taking 4th spot in the GS race, Atkinson (UNH) 5th in GS and 3rd in the SL race. Also hitting the top 10 was OST Alumni Kevin Drury, now also at UVM. Several Ontario team athletes raced in this event including Mike Bisnaire (Craigleith), Dylan Fisher McCarney and Richard Hogarth

Bisnaire, Hogarth, Tommy Grand and Fisher McCarney are on course today in the NJR in Whiteface, NY with a GS today and Tuesday. Follow it live here.

A great start for OST's Morgan Megarry (Craigleith) with his best ever Nor Am result placing 17th in the Super Combined. He followed BC racer Morgan Pridy in 15th spot and Craigleith's Phil Brown in 16th spot. Morgan was the top J1 in both the SuperG (30th overall) and the SuperC.

Racing along with Megarry are Kelby Halbert and Andrew Solomon. In the upcoming women's races OST members Emma Kitchen and Brenley Nella will be racing, Julia Roth will not be competing after a recent knee injury. Follow today's race live here  LIVE TIMING.COM
