WHITEFACE, NY (February 23, 2010) -- Racing continues for AOA team athletes south of the border with a men and ladies DH training in the Aspen Nor Am and a second Giant Slalom in New York State.
OST member Mike Bisnaire (Georgian Peaks) was the top Cndian racer down yesterday's track - he followed seven US racers to place 8th in a time of 2.03.36. The winning time by US racer Kris Hopkins was 2.01.67. Following Mike in 18th spot was Osler's Tommy Grand (5th J1), Fisher McCarney and Hogarth did not finish.
With the exception of Brenley Nella and Emma Kitchen the entire women's AOA team will be heading to the Miele Ottawa FIS races this weekend followed by the upcoming GMC Cup races in Camp Fortune, QC and Georgian Peaks, ON.
More DH training is scheduled for Aspen today with CAST skiers now on course from the Olympics including Jan Hudec and Tyler Nella.
