ACTIVE LIFE CONDITIONING TRAINING CENTRE OPENS ITS DOORS!!

The first of its kind in Collingwood, Owner of Active Life Conditioning Sarah Applegarth has expanded to a training centre designed to provide a facility for both athletes and any individual looking to accomplish their goals.  Whether it be weight loss, general health or athletic performance, this state of the art facility gets away from the classic gym membership style.  Instead it provides a coach based support system set up for you to come for a private, semi private or group conditioning session during times of the year that work for you.  The athletic style of training at ALC will be supported with classes like Yoga and pilates to prevent injury and aid recovery.
Anyone intimidated by going into a gym or afraid of getting hurt while working out, will benefit from the individual injury prevention assessment screen included with any new conditioning class.
Classes currently offered at ALC Training Centre starting May 10th:

Youth Athletic Conditioning – multisport training run for kids to teach agility, balance and coordination.   Excellent for kids ages 7 – 15years

Performance Training – Elite training program coached by specialists in their field.  Ideal for athletes looking competeat a high level 15+years

Women’s conditioning – full body programs designed to encompass all areas from strength, balance, flexibility and nutrition

Cross Fit inspired circuits – multi functional training designed to push you to your physical limits.  No two workouts will be the same!

Yoga – Hatha and Hatha Vinyasa Style designed by Cathy Day for regulars as well as athletes looking to improve range of movement and stability

Pilates – Local expert Lisa Rennie will be teaching a level I/II matwork class

Olympic Lifting- elite coaches, Jill and Ken Miller will be both training and coaching for anyone looking to improve their form or learn a new lift.

Also back by popular demand, Youth Multisport Summer Camps- if you are interested click here.

Although the doors officially opened May 3rd, all are invited for an Open House and Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, May 13th from 6-8pm.
This event will be a great opportunity for past, current and future clients to see what the exciting new facility has to offer them and it’s also a great chance for those interested in pursuing a more active lifestyle to check out what Active Life can do for them.  Drop in to watch our elite athletes Olympic lifting.and a co-ed adult circuit group going through the paces.   I’m also pleased to announce that the event will be catered by ‘Pure’ the cafe located beside us that will be opening later this spring.   Come preview some of their yummy yet healthy treats!  Renowned West coast artist Brian Buckrell will be calling ALC training centre home for his ‘east coast’ gallery.  Come on out and check out his amazing work.

The Active Life Conditioning Training Centre is located in the new Cranberry Mews (Unit 102/103) on Highway 26 adjacent to the Cranberry Inn.
