It is with great sadness that we inform you of the loss of Breanne Bates. Breanne grew up skiing and racing in Ontario and was a member of the Huronia Alpine Development Team before moving out west  to continue her education and racing at the FIS level. Our thoughts and prayers are with Breanne’s family and friends at this very difficult time.

20 years, August 19, 2010, in Vernon B.C. Loving daughter of Erin and the late Michelle Durocher (2010), Cherished granddaughter of Leo (Buddy) Durocher, Betty Bates and Art Bates. Dear niece and cousin of many. Breanne was a student of University of British Columbia and the University of Windsor. She was training at the Alberta Ski Academy and looking forward to the up coming season and she was also a member of the Windsor Rogues Rugby Team.

As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to Sick's Kids Hospital Foundation. Visitation will be held at the Victoria Greenlawn Memorial Chapel and Visitation Centre 1525 Highway #3, (1 km west of Walker Rd) 519-969-3939 on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 11:00 a.m..
