AOA hosts over 15 CSCF Level 1 Coaching Clinics each winter.

Please note the CSCF mandates that coaches participating in the CSCF courses must wear helmets.

Coaches should become familiar with the related documents here, including the AIM2WIN Alpine Canada Long Term Athlete Development Plan; the NCCP website; CAC (Coaches Association of Canada), the CAO (Coaches Association of Ontario) and the Code of Ethics.

DL COURSE, FEB 20-24TH, Craigleith Ski Club, The Blue Mountains 

The Development Level course is an introduction to coaching at the “Learn to Train” and “Learn to Race” levels of development. This 5 day course includes topics such as slalom and giant slalom basics for U14 and U16 athletes. Practice coaching sessions are part of the course for each candidate.

PL2 COURSE April 4th & 5th, Collingwood 

Please note to sign up for the PL2 course the candidates must complete all the pre-requisite work as listed below:

  1. DL Certified
  2. ACA Physical Conditioning Online Module
  3. NCCP Design a Basic Sport Program

This is a 2-day course taking place in Collingwood. Cost is $260.00 or $234.00 if you register before March 5th.

TSC is really happy to be hosting all six (6) Competitive Development NCCP modules this winter. These courses are required learning in order to receive your Performance Level certification.

Coaches can register for one or all workshops. There are no prerequisites to register.  Workshops are designed to augment coaches current certification and education.

Modules will be offered on Wednesdays over the next six weeks. Below are the links to register:
