Congratulations to the eight Ontario athletes and two coaches for representing both Ontario and Canada in such a positive manner during the recent Barcelonnette International FIS Children’s races. Daily updates by coaches Andy Holba and Bebe Zoricic included wonderful photos (click here for AOA Facebook album) and also photos from Andy Holba’s Facebook here.

The Teams arrived to spectacular blue skies and perfect snow for their 4 days of racing. The groups were hosted by a local club head coach Yannick and his French squad. They also trained alongside Team Holland, Team New Zealand, Hungarian and Israel. Holba commented, “Yannick’s hospitality is second to none.”

Racing concluded yesterday and the Team will now enjoy some cultural sights in nearby Lyon,
and visit the Rossignol Factory for a private tour before returning home on March 29th.

Thank you again to the Goodman Family and the Nik Zoricic Foundation for sponsoring these athletes. Congratulations on these fabulous results!
