Britt Phelan (Mont-Tremblant, Que.) achieved a lifelong dream of not only competing at the Olympics, but also winning a SILVER medal at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.

Phelan’s deep passion for skiing and growing the sport, has led her to auction off her Olympic race bib to raise money for an up-and-coming athlete. All proceeds from the bib auction will go towards a provincial team athlete who shows characteristics that Phelan believes will help them achieve success at the World Cup, World Championship and Olympic level in years to come.

The selected athlete will meet the following criteria:

  • Promise in overall athletic performance
  • Dedication and passion to skiing on and off the hill, exemplifying a strong work ethic
  • A supportive teammate
  • Will submit two to three sentences explaining why they deserve the award
  • A member of a provincial club

Interested athletes are encouraged to submit a short paragraph to Brittany Phelan via email phelan.brittany@gmail.com by March 30th, 2018 at midnight MST.  The selected athlete will be announced shortly after.
