What a week we have had here in El Colorado! Tons of skiing, excellent conditions as well as a great crew of athletes willing to work hard. Will and I have been impressed daily with all athletes willingness to push through on these long days.

Over this last block we have been working closely and sharing hill space the National Capital Outaouis (NCO) Team, led by Joey Lavigne. Its been great to have all the coaches and athletes working together we are able to maximize our time getting the most out of every day. Here’s a recap of Chile so far…

Day 1 – SL freeski drills and skills 8:30-3:30pm

Day 2 – SL freeski drills and skills 8:30-3:15pm

Day 3 – GS freeski drills and skills 8:30-4pm

Day 4 –  AM Panel SL easy terrain with long ski in and ski out, 8 runs in course, GS freeski in PM. 8:30-4pm

Day 5 –  AM Panel SL easy terrain quick turn around, 20 runs in course, GS freeski in PM. 8:30-330pm

Day 6 – OFF lots of video

Day 7 – AM GS Gates. 50 sec course. 9 runs. GS freeski in PM. 8:30-3:30pm

Day 8 – POWDER DAY!  8:30-2pm

Day 9 – SL. 60 Gates. 12 runs. SL freeski in PM. 8-2pm

Day 10 – Super-G. 8 runs. 55 sec course. SL drill courses in PM. 6 runs. 8-3:30pm

Day 11 – Super-G. 8 runs. 55 sec course. SL drill and full 55 gate course in PM. 6 runs. 8-3:30pm

Day 12 – Super-G. 8 runs. 50 sec course. PM OFF. 7;30-11:30am

After our day off  tomorrow our last 4 day block will consist of 1, possibly 2 SL sessions and 2 more GS sessions. Weather looks great and athletes are keen!
