Kip Harrington – Head Coach and Program Director

Kip returned to AOA in 2017 after eight years with the Canadian Alpine Ski Team and two years leading the British Ski Academy. He previously ran the Ontario Ski Team for AOA from 2000 to 2007.

Kip lives in Sault Ste. Marie and is a Performance Level (PL) Certified Coach.

Cameron McKenzie – Men’s Head Coach 

Cameron has over a decade of experience coaching at the club, regional and PSO level. He has spent the past four seasons coaching the Ontario Ski Team – most recently serving as Men’s Head Coach.

Cameron lives in Collingwood and is a Development Level (DL) trained coach.

Alex Lennox – Men’s Assistant Coach 

Alex is from Ottawa and coached for five years with the Camp Fortune Ski Club at the U12/U14 levels before moving to the NCO FIS Team for the past three seasons. The NCO Ski Team is a regional Ontario/Quebec program that feeds to the OST or Quebec Ski Team.

Alex has his undergrad from the University of Ottawa and is Performance Level (PL) trained coach.


Katie Twible – Women’s Head Coach

Katie is originally from Breckenridge, Colorado. Katie raced on the US Development Team and later with the University of Colorado where she was crowned the NCAA Champion and earned a degree in Psychology.

Due to injury Katie retired and started coaching working with the Paralympic Team in Sochi before coaching with the Aspen Ski Club and most recently as the U16 Head Coach at the Craigleith Ski Club.

Mike Byrne – Women’s Assistant Coach

Mike is from Wentworth Valley, Nova Scotia

Mike has worked with the Georgian Peaks U16 Enhanced program for the last four years as the Men’s lead coach and has lead teams at both the Can-Ams and Whistler Cup.

Mike is a Development Level (DL) Certified Coach and has his B.Commerce from Mount Allison University.
