We all know that eating more vegetables is one of the best ways to maintain a healthy diet. Veggies are nutrient dense, high in fibre and eating more means eating less unhealthy food choices. Try to incorporate vegetables into your breakfast to boost your daily intake. Add a handful of spinach to your morning smoothie, or broccoli and zucchini to scrambled eggs. Think outside the breakfast cereal box and start adding a side salad to your morning routine. To make my busy life easy I buy a protein with a greens powder included!
