Fitness Testing this Sunday!

Testing has move to the amazing new PanAm Sports Centre in Toronto. Parents are encouraged to come take a look around if they have not yet visited this centre.

AOA is hosting a mass fitness testing event at the Toronto Pan-Am Sports Centre May 7th from 9am-3pm. Cost will be $20 for pre-registration on the AOA website and athletes will be entered into a draw for some sponsor prizing. All U12+ AOA members are invited attend.  Registration on-site May 6 will be $25.00.  Fitness Testing will include: Pente Jump, Medicine Ball Throw, Vertical Jump, Hex Rail, Movement Screen, Box Jump and Beep Test.

All athletes planning on attending the 2018 U14 and U16 Provincials/Finals must submit a fitness test dated Sept 1-Dec 31 to AOA before Dec 31 to be eligible.

SCHEDULE 

8:00-9:00am – Registration – South end of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre

9:00am-12noon -Testing for U16(2002/2003), U19(1999/2000/2001), U21(1997/1998) & Open(1996+)

NEW – 9:30am Parent Meeting CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT with Erin Smith, Athletic Therapist, Totem Wellness VIP Boardroom – meet at South Entrance of Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre at 9:15am at the AOA registration table to be escorted to the VIP Boardroom

11:00am-12noon – Registration – South end of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre

12noon-3:00pm – 12:00pm-3:00pm Testing for U12(YOB 2006/2007)/U14(2004/2005)

Please note that no parents will be permitted onto the gym floor as per the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre policy.  The building is open to the public so entrance into the gym is only for those paying to use the facilities.  Parents will be able to view the testing from the 2nd floor.

Parking is free for the first 2 hours and then $3.00 maximum after the first 2 hours.  Most convenient parking lot will be the South lot.  AOA registration will be just inside the South doors.
